List templates
List Templates allow you to use a known list format as the starting point for new lists.
Templates set the number of columns, columns names, and entry prefill content for a list. Applying templates is safe and will keep your list data intact.
Using a Template
A template is used to create a new list. Blank Rounding List
is the default selected template.

For current lists, templates can be previewed and applied in the Customize List menu.
- Go to
Templates
>Choose Template
>Select
Reset
reverts to your current list format.- Clicking
Apply Changes
will save a template to your list. (data within your list is unaffected).

Importing Templates
Templates can be imported into your SOS List software from a list template file.
You can get template files from https://soslist.org/templates.
In the Customize List menu, go to Templates
> Load
then select a template.sos
file to import. The template will be uploaded and saved within your SOS List system to use.

Creating a Template
You can save your own list formats as a Template within SOS List. This can help save time when making new lists.
Templates are created by choosing Save Template
in the Customize List menu. You can save over an existing template by choosing Save As
.

Export your Template
SOS List Templates can be exported to a file that can be imported into a different SOS List software.
Click Templates
> Choose Template
> Download
to export your template to a file called your-template.sos
.
